Originated in 1994, Shwe Myanmar (pronounced ‘Shway’ and meaning
Golden) was established as a business specializing in the
exportation and importation of Spices, Beans and Pulses, and
Chemicals to and from Singapore, India, Pakistan, Bangladesh, China
and Myanmar.
Sustained growth has since seen the organisation diversify into
the Frozen Fish Industry in 1999, supplying domestically and
exporting abroad.
This success has also facilitated further diversification into
the importation of raw materials for the domestic construction
industry, as of 2009. The organization is currently expanding its
fishery business into Asia Pacific and Europe, and is looking
forward to working with current and prospective partners long into
the future.
